“ We have traveled all over the world to many Michelin star restaurants and I must say as a Greek, this is the best Greek food I have ever had. It is a crime this restaurant does not have a Michelin Star. The food was incredible the octopus and the lamb melted away and the dips were even incredible. The service and owner were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. Even their music selection was amazing. The atmosphere, service, and food were on another level. 5 stars doesn’t do it justice. Highly recommend if you want an unforgettable meal. ”

“ So this place is definitely better for sharing plates. Prices are old port prices, so not great, but I guess that's rent for you. Food quality was great, I haven't seen a lot of Greek places with watermelon salad which was a pleasant surprise. Pork chops were delicious and well seasoned. Baklava Martini isn't very baklava but it still makes a great cocktail. Decor is pretty, it's definitely a nice, high ceiling space. Service was a little brusque considering how much you're paying, I would expect friendlier and more formal service, especially since I was only one of two tables. Like they didn't ask me if I had any questions about the menu, explain that it was more of a place for sharing (I had to eavesdrop in on another conversation to get that), or wish me a good day at the end. You know, the basics. Food came quickly, though once again I went at a slow time. ”

“ Wow!!! I really loved everything about Mati! My friend and I recently celebrated our 50th birthday here , and the food, drinks and hospitality were impeccable! The braised lamb neck was so tender and wonderfully flavoured, and the grilled octopus was so delicious that we ate it all before I even thought to take a photo, but it was so good I really wanted to order another. I would have if I wasn't so full! Also, shout out to the green beans, roasted potatoes and tzatziki. They were all delicious as well. The Prometheus cocktail was an absolute showstopper with the flaming garnish, and the entire cocktail menu was really thoughtful and interesting. Thank you for a wonderfully memorable evening. We will definitely be returning to Mati and recommending it to all our friends! ”
